Teachers – The Change Agent

Covid 19 has done, what seemed impossible a few weeks back, making everyone stay at home for 7 weeks and counting. This has affected almost every aspect of our life and we are not sure when our lives would be back to normal or some of this is going to be the  New Normal  or we can say “New World is in Creation”.

One part of the life that has been affected the most is the world of education, but is not being talked much. Its high time we all look into the future of Education and be prepared for the change.

Some educational institutions have taken a lot of initiatives and have leveraged the technology advancements and helped teachers find an alternative way to teach. Most of these technological tools are very new to teachers, who are using these aids for the very first time, which has been a big leap for them.

One of the most important question here is … Are we thanking our teachers enough?

Teachers are The Creators of Tomorrow !!

In the current circumstances, everyone is a warrior and fighting a war for themselves, but our teachers are fighting and ensuring that our younger generation is not whiling away their time. They are working towards making our kids ready to face the New World.

It is not an easy job to engage students by creating interactive lessons and ensuring they understand the concepts, while teaching live on tools like Webex, Skype, Zoom etc. Kudos to our teachers! They are trying their level best to ensure the quality of teaching is even better.

As the future of education delivery is definitely going to be a hybrid of online and classroom learning, all the teachers would need to develop more of techno social skills. Teaching has to be interactive & can never be one way, but while teaching online, interaction level needs to be even higher to keep the students engaged. Teachers needs to be well versed with the all the tools like using virtual whiteboards or screen sharing that make the session much more effective. Our teachers have to master these new skills and lead from the front and be the Change Agent.

Let us all work together to get ready for this change and play our role in creating Genius Minds of tomorrow, ready to face challenges towards “ New World in Creation.”Let’s make the world ready to welcome this “New World of Hope and Positivity”.
